Ceresit CT 54 is used for painting facades and interiors (walls and ceiling in). It can cover mineral substrates (concrete, cement, cement-lime and lime plasters) that have not been previously painted. As a result of a chemical reaction, the paint permanently bonds to the substrate. It is particularly recommended for painting new plasters, as it enables quick commencement of painting works, without fear that the alkaline reaction of the fresh substrate will destroy the coating. The paint can be used to paint mineral plasters: Ceresit CT 35, CT 36 and CT 137 and silicate Ceresit: CT 72, CT 73 made on traditional substrates and included in the seamless system in Ceresit for insulation of external walls of buildings (BSO). Due to the non-flammability and very good vapor permeability, CT 54 is recommended to be used for the Ceresit WM system, in which the insulation material is mineral wool boards. The heating of the facade causes harmful stresses, which is why dark colors should only be used on small areas, e.g. architectural details. The mineral nature of the paint, bactericidal properties and a noble, matt appearance allow the use of CT 54 in historic buildings, on traditional, renovation and aerated plasters with the addition of Ceresit CO 84. Do not use on acrylic plasters and non-mineral paint coatings.
The product color palette can be found in the "Hints" section in the "Colors and stencils" tab. The chosen color should be entered in the comment to the order. Wyb has the required documents for use.
