The regulator uses a probe to measure the temperature in the fireplace drip, displays it on the LED display and sets the rotation speed of the fireplace air supply apparatus by controlling the distribution of warm air.
The speed is controlled in two modes: Manual (MAN) and Automatic (AUTO). In manual (MAN) mode the rotational speed of the supply air motor is set on a scale of 0 ... 10 where "0" means engine shutdown and 10 maximum revolutions. The measured temperature has no effect on the engine speed.
In automatic mode (AUTO) the engine speed is set automatically depending on the measured temperature. Above 40 [C] the supply air unit will switch on automatically ensuring the minimum rotational speed. The speed increases in proportion to the temperature rise, reaching the maximum value for [C]. After switching off the power supply (with the NETWORK switch or in the event of a power outage), the current operating mode and the set speed are saved and restored after being switched on again.
The automatic rotation regulator in ARO cooperates with Darco supply air devices of the AN1, AN2, AN3 types.
